Here is some general information so you can plan:

When: July 6 – 10, 2009. 9am – 4pm.

(Before and after care as well as a half day option available).

Where: The Catlin Gabel School. 8825 SW Barnes Rd. Portland, OR 97225

Camp Options:

· Intensive Chamber Music Camp

· Early Childhood General Music Camp

· Suzuki Violin Camp

Registration Deadline: Registration will close on May 1^st, 2009. All students requesting a Suzuki Master Class must do so by May 1^st. However, many class sizes are limited. If classes are full, you will be notified and placed on our waiting list. Tuition will be refunded if no space is available.

Teacher Observation: Teachers who have three or more students attending camp may observe student classes at no extra charge.

Parent Participation: In the spirit of the Suzuki philosophy, parents are asked to attend all master classes and performance group classes with their Suzuki student. Parents also have the opportunity to participate in our Parent Talk led by Teacher Trainer Kathleen Spring. (see pg 4 for more details).

Portland Music Academy is a non-profit, virtual school in many locations around the Portland, Oregon area. We offer Lessons, classes, workshops and summer camps. Our highly trained and committed faculty offer instrumental lessons on the violin, viola, cello, harp, piano and guitar. Ensembles, orchestras and performances provide ample opportunity to share your gifts with your community.
